Armory marking Merino harmed in first instructional course

Stockpile supervisor Mikel Arteta says new marking Mikel Merino will be out for a "couple of weeks" in the wake of harming his shoulder during his most memorable instructional course with the club.

The Spaniard finished a £31.6m move to the Heavy weapons specialists from Genuine Sociedad on Tuesday.

Merino, Stockpile's second marking of the late spring following the appearance of Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna, prepared with his new club interestingly on Thursday.

The 28-year-old crashed into a colleague, coming about in a "little break" that will keep him out for a "couple of weeks".

"Indeed extremely appalling. Recently he had an impact and he has a shoulder injury, sadly. It seems as though he will be out for half a month," said Arteta.

"He was truly invigorated and everything was looking great. He arrived on the floor and Gabi arrived on top of him and it seems as though he has a little break presumably.

"We need to see. He was in such a lot of torment, we need to hold on to do a few additional tests."

Stockpile have won both of their initial Head Association apparatuses, beating Wolves and Aston Estate.

The Heavy weapons specialists have Brighton - one of the other three groups in the division with a 100 percent record up to this point this term - at the Emirates on Saturday.
